The Gustine City Band started its 94th year with a rehearsal on January 23rd. These off-season rehearsals are held in the music room of Gustine High School located at 501 North Avenue. The next rehearsals will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday February 27th, Sunday March 20th and Sunday April 24th. Any interested brass or woodwind players are invited to attend. The band had a good showing in Dos Palos last week, including what may have been the first marching bassoon in band history. This Sunday its the Crows Landing Festa. Please be there by 9:00 AM. Map to Crows Landing.

Up Next: Dos Palos
We had a great turnout for the job in Buhach, and there were a lot of new faces. The next job is in Dos Palos. The band did this job many years ago, but this is the first time in recent history. Meet at the D.E.S. Hall located at 1357 Elgin Avenue at Highway 33 in Dos Palos. Arrive by 9:00 AM. Get directions to D.E.S. Hall in Dos Palos.

It's a busy week.
The Gustine City Band will perform at two venues this week. First, we have the Gustine 4th of July. Then we follow with the Santa Cruz Festa on July 6.
